Onion Soup


1 tablespoon olive oil
8 cups assorted onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic
6 cups dark broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon molasses


Saute onions in oil till tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

This soup is great served with thick slices of toasted French bread with melted cheese.
